Site-55 was established in 1998, founded by Liam and Vabzie as part of an initiative to expand Foundation operations into isolated and secure environments. Their vision was to create a facility completely detached from the surface world one that could contain, study, and secure anomalies beyond the reach of any government.

Construction began shortly after approval from The Administrator Ceo, head of the O5 Council, who authorized the creation of an underwater site capable of sustaining full scale containment operations. The project, codenamed Project Abyssline, was classified at the highest level, with all details of its location, staffing, and funding permanently sealed under Directive ██-55.

Head of Construction Celeste led the facility’s construction and systems engineering, developing the pressure resistant architecture and environmental controls that allow Site-55 to operate under immense oceanic depth. Her work formed the foundation of the site’s resilience, ensuring stability through breaches and full lockdowns alike.

Over the following years, Ibrahim organized and directed the Faction Coordination Hub, allowing Foundation divisions to operate in unison within Site-55. Network design and encrypted communications were maintained by Flevie, who ensured all data flow remained hidden from surface monitoring systems.

The acquisition teams responsible for tracking and securing anomalous entities across the surrounding sectors were led by Khonsu. His early recoveries populated several of Site-55’s first containment chambers, though not all missions were officially recorded.
